A few nice buy gibson sg images I found:
Oasis Electric Guitar

This is a guitar I bought back in the middle 70′s. I worked in a music store at the time and went to the NAMM show in Chicago. I saw it there and was impressed by the materials (koa, purple heart) and the styling. I didn’t use it as much as my double-neck Gibson SG, which I loved. The Oasis is top-heavy. Let go of the neck and it drops down. The finish on the neck wore off quickly and the pick-ups sound only so-so. My son played it in his band for a while and came to the same conclusion. The Oasis guitar company didn’t stay in business long. I think the bass player for the Beastie Boys played one of their instruments.
The photo is a 9x exposure stacked macro – meaning that it took 9 different photos of different depths of field to assemble an image of the entire guitar in focus. I used ZereneStacker and Nik Silver Efex Pro 2.
farewell old friend…..

so, today was a happy and sad day.
i sold my marshall 4×12 cab and gibson sg. in the pursuit to really take a focused step towards photography professionally i sold some of my gear to buy lights.
i have been looking to sell the cab and guitar for a bit now, but secretly was always glad when deals fell through so that i could hold on to this stuff that has been collecting dust in my garage. and that’s what i’ve been doing. holding onto parts of my life that have been collecting dust. music is and will always be apart of my life. the memories, the friendships, fights, the years on the road. but today was sort of a gut check over what i wanted more..music or photography. since i can remember i always wanted a marshall and i worked my butt off to get this one. the hard part of getting rid of the marshall was everything that went with it. the memories of sleeping in the back of a 15 passenger van, sharing a hotel room with 4 great friends, sweating my butt off everynight on stage, stashing cokes from the greenroom, in my messenger bag so i wouldn’t have to buy one later. this cab has survived being tipped over in a trailer in south dakota, several national tours, sweat, smoke from blacks, recording studio re-wiring’s, clint’s flying drumsticks, and my addiction to always playing loud.
it was sad to see this old friend go.
but now i feel that i’ve opened myself up to greater things.
and i’m hugging the cab, not humping it.
